3 Steps to get Website Traffic!

A website or online store without traffic is as useless as a shop without shoppers! A good website only needs traffic to start generating revenue 24/7. So, if you had to focus on just one thing in your business - focus on getting traffic to your website. It is pretty simple. Here is what you should do!

A) Find out how your clients use the internet

There are many ways to discover - be that a focus group, a short questionnaire, ask questions on Facebook or create a poll. Find a way to know how your audience uses the internet. This is of course based on your audience. If you have different audience types- find out each of their ways and do not generalize. You need to know who you are marketing to before you start marketing! The answers can be many - specific sites - like newspapers, gmail, facebook, Linked In, News Groups, Community pages etc. Google search engines pretty much fill into everyone's profile.

B) Put yourself in front of your audience

Now it might sound obvious now! Unless you are right in front of your potential customer -s/he cannot know about you! Check out each of the answers you got for step 1 and see which is most feasible for you to advertise on. Most are really cheap starting from a few cents per click or less than a cent for an impression. When you get this going you have to make sure that only the right people - i.e. your profile/potential client - is clicking on these ads an no one else. This will help you maximize the return from your investment and will eliminate excess expenditure.

C) Repeat! Be Consistent

Once you discover what works for you, which website gave you the best results, which ones where less costly, and which once were completely useless take note and set a plan that would allow you to meet your marketing goals. The best results from any marketing method - be that online or offline is consistency! It is very important to keep in front of your audience - to help them remember you when they need you!
